HOW DOES HIFU WORK ?

HiFU targets the SMAS layer (also targeted in facelift), this is the layer that lines the muscle and is responsible for the movement of muscle. By inducing heat to this tissue it begins the wound healing process and stimulation of collagen and elastin.
A second pass of HiFu is then performed where we target the Dermis. This layer is more superficial to the SMAS layer; As we age the Dermis begins to thin, so by stimulating the cells in this layer the collagen and elastin cells are rejuvenated by rebuilding and thickening of the dermal area.

HiFu lifts, tightens, and tones loose skin to counteract the effects of time and gravity. One of the first effects of gravity is that the brows descend, and the eyes start to appear smaller. HiFu will lift your brow, which in turn reduces the excess skin on the lids, opens up your eyes and gives you a more refreshed appearance.

How is HiFu non-surgical skin tightening different from other cosmetic procedures?
