Fat Transfer

How it works:

Fat is removed from your own body through a small liposuction procedure. Tumescent anaesthesia is used (local anaesthetic). The fat obtain via a fine cannulas is washed and filtered.

Blood is taken and processed with either a tube system PRP or Angel PRP machine. The platelets extracted are then combined with the autologous (your own) fat removed and injected into any areas of defect or areas needing enhancement. The activated stems cells results in increased vascular formation around the graft from stimulation by PRP vascular endothelial growth factor, and consequently a higher percentage of graft survival.

Areas that can be treated:

Fat grafts can be used in all areas that filler can be used including :

Chin, Nose correction, Mid face filler, Temporal hollows, Nasal labial folds, Jowls and Oral Commissures, Hands.

Fat grafts with PRP can also be used for Breast Augmentation and Brazilian buttock lift.

Additional areas that can be treated where fillers do not work:

Dark circles around (underneath) the eye.

Autologous fat filler can be placed in this area to reduce the dark circles around the eye. This creates a layer between the skin and the underlying muscle and venous cascades. This results in a lightening of the area which cannot be achieved with fillers as they are transparent.

How long does it last:

The treatment is permanent. However the effects depend on the survival of the fat graft. In the inferior eye area the survival rates are high. In other areas around 80% of the graft will survive when used with PRP and Stem cells.

Cost : The cost of PRP process is $1200 per region. The fat extraction is $4000-6000 depending on the amount of fat required.
